The sugar coats of microalgae
This page wants to combine and "digest" the emerging field of microalgal N-glycans.
Microalgae, or maybe all algae, display a huge and as yet barely uncovered variety of N-glycan structure and structure combinations (=patterns).
For the moment this page only lists the a few relevant publications:
About Chlorella:

Mocsai, R., M. Blaukopf, E. Svehla, P. Kosma and F. Altmann (2020). "The N-glycans of Chlorella sorokiniana and a related strain contain arabinose but have strikingly different structures." Glycobiology 30(8): 663-676.
